"description": "How long tech roles sit open and how often they relist, at (market, role, region) grain, snapshotted once a week from the job postings we track — the durable series behind the 'where roles sit open longest' boards. Each row is one capture week's reading of that cell's currently-open postings.",

"Each row is a POINT-IN-TIME snapshot for its capture week: the median observed open span and relist rate of that cell's postings as measured that week, not a cohort followed to close. A cell publishes only with at least 30 tracked postings; its median open span publishes only with at least 5 currently-open postings, so a thin cell shows a relist rate with a null median rather than a noisy figure.",
"Observed spans, never extrapolated: 'days open' is the time between a posting's first and last sighting in our collection, and a relist is that opening's span resetting after it lapsed and reappeared. A long-open or relisted role is an observation, not a ghost-job claim — visa and green-card rules require some roles to be re-advertised.",
"Regions are the location cells we sample per market; the series covers those cells only, not every locality. Country codes are lower-cased ISO (au, us, gb). This file is refreshed from the live weekly rollup — the temporal coverage grows with each published refresh."
